Ballybran, the fifth planet from the sun, Scoria, has three natural satellites (Shankill, Shanganagh and Shilmore) and 16 permanent artifical satellites orbiting it. Unauthorised landing upon Ballybran is expressly forbidden by the Federated Sentient Planets.

Ballybran experiences mild winters and hot summers, with the mach storms increasing in intensity during the spring, building up to the spectacle which is known as the Passover storms.

Ballybran is home to the Heptite Guild which produces crystals that have varied uses. The largest productive crystal ranges and the main training facility of the Heptite Guild can be found on the largest continent although there are smaller continents to be found on this planet which is more covered in water than land mass.

Heptite Guild Facilities


Although the Main Heptite Guild facilities appear impressive from the ground, it must be noted that the facilities actually continue down ten subterranean levels where the Guild Infirmary can be found. There are 3 levels above ground (A) and 10 below (S). Storage areas and the Guild Hanger can be found on level A1, Cutter workshops and Guild classrooms on S5, Singer areas on levels S6-S8 and the Infirmary on level S10.

Singer areas are positioned around the lift shaft on all 3 of their levels, with catering, large screen viewing, private dining and assembly room facilities arranged around the lift shaft. Singer apartments are arranged in quadrents in the outer arc of the areas.
